sean and i drove to new hampshire a few weeks ago and had a lovely visit with dear friends kelda and kaia - and kelda's sweet finn!  here are a few moments from our day - an art studio tour, lovely fall foliage, and a bit of time in the yard...

a few weeks ago sean and i went to the big E, the county fair in nearby springfield.  i'd never been to this type of fair before - it was fun to look at all of the farm animals!  unfortunately my camera ran out of memory before we got to the antique tractors and tiny nursing piglets.  we passed on the funnel cakes, dizzying rides, and generally overblown commercialism at the fair.

i have been extremely busy the last couple of weeks, little time to post.  we are slowly getting settled in northampton, and enjoying the lovely views of fall in our neighborhood.  i took this pic before the leaves started falling - there was such a lovely fog in the backyard.  it reminded me of mornings in humboldt county.

i don't have a studio yet, so yesterday i set up printing some tee shirts in the backyard.  it was fun working in the sun, the tees dried quickly, and i loved the way the sun looked coming through the screen...

a pierogi bike pilgrimage

western massachusetts has great bike paths.  and, as we found the other day, very tasty pierogis!  we biked to a sweet little shop for our homemade polish treats.  i made special note of the wood panelling on the ceiling.  its fun to explore our new neighborhood!

the kitties stayed with molly in NY while sean and i were driving across the country in august.  molly had a groomer give them the "lion cut".  she did this largely for her own amusement, but there were some side benefits - no shedding or furballs!  sally looked especially ridiculous.

we've bought a few pieces of furniture on craigslist for our new apartment that needed painting.  i was working outside, and tiny bugs kept getting caught in the paint!
